1. Introduction

Event Identification: The Gap In Between, organized by Social Nest Foundation, whose mission is to catalyze economic actors to solve social and environmental challenges. The event will be held on the date and at the location indicated on the official website.

Acceptance of the Terms & Conditions: By registering to attend the event, participants accept these Terms and Conditions. This acceptance is mandatory to complete the registration process and participate in the event.

2. Registration and Participation

Registration Requirements: Registration is carried out through the official website. Participants must provide accurate and complete information.

Entry and Access: Attendees will receive a confirmation email with their ticket. For paid tickets, access is subject to full payment.

Personal Data: The processing of participants' personal data will be governed by Social Nest Foundation’s Privacy Policy.

3. Changes to the Event

Modifications: Social Nest Foundation reserves the right to modify the event’s program, speakers, date, or location. Participants will be notified of any changes via the email address provided during registration.

Cancellation: In the event of cancellation, attendees will be informed via the email provided at the time of registration.

4. Refund Policy

Paid Tickets:

No refunds will be issued for tickets purchased for The Gap In Between 2025, as the full amount is considered a donation entirely allocated to support projects focused on emergency response, recovery, and resilience in the Valencia region affected by the DANA weather phenomenon, as detailed on the event’s official website.

By purchasing a ticket, the participant acknowledges and agrees that their payment constitutes a non-refundable contribution to a social cause, regardless of whether they attend the event.

5. Billing Policy

Invoice Request:

Attendees who require an invoice for their ticket purchase must request it by emailing administracion@socialnest.org within a maximum of 15 calendar days from the payment date. After this period, Social Nest Foundation will not be obligated to issue invoices for ticket purchases, without exception.

To issue the invoice, the following information must be provided:

  • Full name or company name

  • Tax Identification Number (NIF/CIF)

  • Complete billing address

  • Contact email address

Invoices will be issued in electronic format and sent to the attendee’s email within 15 business days of receiving the complete request.

Once issued, invoices cannot be modified. It is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure that the information provided is correct and complete.

6. Liability and Limitation of Liability

Social Nest Foundation is not responsible for personal injuries, loss of belongings, or technical issues during virtual events.

In any case, Social Nest Foundation’s liability shall not exceed the value of the purchased ticket.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Content Ownership:

All event content, including presentations, recordings, audiovisual materials, and any other content provided during The Gap In Between, is the property of Social Nest Foundation or the respective speakers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Use of Image and Voice:

By participating in the event, attendees acknowledge and agree that their image and voice may be captured in photos, videos, and recordings made during the event. Such material may be used by Social Nest Foundation for promotional, informational, educational, and communication purposes related to its activities and future events.

Participants grant Social Nest Foundation, free of charge and without geographical or time limitations, the rights to capture, use, reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, and disseminate their image and voice in any medium, including social media, websites, printed materials, audiovisual content, and any other institutional communication channel.

Attendees have the right to request the removal of their image from Social Nest Foundation’s own channels, except in cases where it is technically unfeasible or part of journalistic coverage, in which case the right to information will take precedence.

Social Nest Foundation is not responsible for the use of these images or recordings by third parties on websites, social media, or other media outside its control.

8. Attendee Conduct

Attendees must behave respectfully towards other participants, speakers, and event staff.

Social Nest Foundation reserves the right to expel any attendee who fails to comply with these rules.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain, and any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Valencia.
